Hi ****,

It is illegal in Canada to advise anyone to ingest essential oils.
That us why my labels say that.
Some essential oils can cause serious harm if ingested.

My essential oils marked Social Enterprise on my website are artisinally distilled by individual farmers or communities, and are horizontally traded through a botanical expert. My other essential oils are also fairly traded and therapeutic grade.

FYI 94% of essential oils produced worldwide are used by the food and pharmaceutical industries. They use the lesser grades that are often adulterated, adjusted etc. So "food grade" essential oil is a technical term for a lower grade of essential oil than therapeutic.

My advice as a Certified Aromatherapy Heath Practitioner (CNHP 1349) is to use herbs to cook with and in teas. This does not mean there is anything "wrong" with my essential oils, simply that this is the appropriate use of botanicals, and advice I can legally give.

AND IF YOU WOULDN'T DRINK 28 CUPS OF PEPPERMINT TEA AT ONE SITTING, THEN DON'T PUT A DROP OF PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL IN A CUP AND DRINK IT.
MAKE PEPPERMINT HERB TEA!!!
