Thanks for asking. I apologize for the delay -
I get hundreds of emails and did not see yours until now.

1. I make soaps using coconut oil and butters, not tallow, but the process for making cold processed soaps is identical. When you select your fats and oils, you use a soap calculator to know how much lye and water to use.
