RATIONALE:

HOW CONVENTIONAL INGREDIENTS HARM PEOPLE AND ENVIRONMENT
Many common ingredients in cosmetics contribute to water and environmental pollution, posing risks to aquatic ecosystems and biodiversity. Microbeads, tiny plastic particles used in exfoliating products, are non-biodegradable and often end up in oceans, where marine animals ingest them. Similarly, silicones and synthetic polymers, frequently found in hair conditioners and lotions, do not break down easily and can accumulate in waterways, leading to long-term environmental contamination. Parabens, used as preservatives, can disrupt the hormonal balance of aquatic life when washed into the water supply. Additionally, chemical sunscreens containing oxybenzone and octinoxate have been linked to coral reef bleaching and other marine damage. These ingredients, combined with the industry's heavy reliance on plastic packaging, highlight the urgent need for eco-friendly alternatives in cosmetics.

HOW NATURAL INGREDIENTS PROTECT PEOPLE AND ENVIRONMENT
Natural ingredients like Epsom salts, sea salt, and clays are considered environmentally friendly in cosmetics due to their biodegradability, minimal processing, and low ecological impact. Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) and sea salt dissolve easily in water and do not leave behind harmful residues, making them safe for aquatic ecosystems. These salts also occur naturally and require little to no synthetic chemical processing, reducing pollution during production. Clays, such as bentonite or kaolin, are naturally sourced minerals that biodegrade and do not accumulate as pollutants in the environment. Additionally, they often require minimal refining, reducing the energy and water usage in their manufacturing process. Because these ingredients are free from synthetic chemicals, they do not disrupt aquatic life or contribute to the build-up of toxic substances, making them more sustainable options for cosmetic formulations.

Together, we can make 50 products an hour depending on participant traffic and the depth of presentation you want.
