Recently answered Questions about Herbs, Clays

Q. Stevia: what do I do with loose-leaf stevia? I think I maybe(?) thought it was powdered(?).

A. Just add a tiny amount to tea or coffee while it is steeping to sweeten it.

Q. Stevia certified organic 100g. The bag says best by Apr 2023 with your handwriting.

A. It doesn't matter if it looks and smells fine. Herbs can become less potent, but they don't convert to poison.

Q. Bentonite clay, food grade: I found 100g I bought (in 2022). Is it probably okay to use? I think I wanted to try it out as an ingredient in DIY toothpaste.

A. It is hundreds of thousands of years old. It's stable. The only problem would be if you put it in a dirty container or it's grown mold from moisture. If it looks and smells fine, it is fine.
