Tangerine 5 Fold Essential Oil
Citrus reticulata blanco var tangerina Steam distilled five times over from the fruit peel, from Italy
Aroma: Tangerine Five Fold Essential Oil has the typical citrus scent – fresh, radiant, and tangy sweet. Subtly tangier than mandarin. Tangerine is lighter than sweet orange with more candy-like tones.
History: Tangerines were originally brought to Europe and then the United States from China where they have been cultivated for 3,000 years!
Five Fold Citrus Essential Oils are more concentrated in colour and scent than cold pressed citrus essential oils. Through extended distillation, sun-sensitizing turpenes are removed, rendering the oil safer for daytime skin application. Due to the increased concentration of essential oil fragrance and colour, five fold oils are perfect for use in perfumery, soap and candle making.
