WANTED: Card Tables for Rehabilitation
UPDATE:
Many thanks to Rehabiltator Peter, and to donors Catherine Auler, Tracey Kolowska and David B. Johnson for the wonderful array of folding tables, and bonus! 7 vintage folding chairs that sparkle!
Do you have an old card table looking a lot closer to the grave than the cradle?
Does your card table have that M*A*S*H vintage look?
Do you catch your card table creeping towards the door
singing "Take Me Out To The Landfill"?
Is your card table lonely in the basement or closet of your home?
Does your sleepwalking housemate have a habit of
"accidentally" putting it out on garbage day?
And yet, it is a good card table.
It has worthy legs.
A noble posture.
It holds a lot of embodied energy.
I would like to adopt your card table.
Your three legged card table will get a prosthetic.
Your topless or trashed top card table will get a newly fitted waxed birch top.
Your card table will be loved. Adored. Feel useful again.
As Anarres Apothecary grows, I will need to adopt and rehabilitate up to four more card tables into the lightweight compact workshop ninjas they were always meant to be.
All folding tables that can be walked or transited to Bloor and Dovercourt are welcome to apply. Birth Mothers of Card Tables will receive a one to two hour Time Exchange Credit good towards workshops at Anarres Apothecary. Contact me at Tracey AT Anarres Health DOT ca
