Spruce up your cleaning products with an all-natural, customized kit we'll make together! You can choose to make unscented products, or to choose essential oils that clear your mind, body and spirit!

You'll make and go home with:
* Creamy Soft Scrub
* All Purpose Spray
* Wood Cleaner OR Laundry Stain Remover
* A Sheet with 6 recipes tested to be as effective as harmful commercial cleaning products

BONUS: ASK ME ANYTHING! I teach a 6-hour curriculum on cleaning and am happy to answer any and all questions about cleaning and sanitizing! Following the workshop, I'll have a table showing cleaning tools and ingredients and explaining how each works, from UVC light wands to the mysteries of biodegradable sponges...

April 13 12-1:30 pm we'll make DIY Natural Cleaning Products, and in honour of May flowers (May 11 12-1:30 pm), we'll make skin toners and hair detanglers using flower waters, and herbal teas for hair rinses. How do you make a safe and effective all-purpose cleaning spray, a creamy scrub and a wood reconditioner? With the DIY Natural Spring Cleaning Products workshop by Anarres Natural Health, of course. As a participant, you'll go home with your very own set of easy-to-make cleaning products (plus recipes) that have been tested for effectiveness and are good for your health and the environment! Bring an empty spritzer and squeeze bottles for yourself and to share.
Open to all ages.

Conventional cleaning products carry risks such as respiratory problems, hormone disruption, and even cancer! NEVER need to buy another unhealthy cleaner or even an eco cleaner in single-use packaging! As a participant, you'll learn to use simple inexpensive ingredients such as water, vinegar, oil, baking soda, and essential oils, and go home with your very own set of easy-to-make cleaning products (plus recipes) that have been tested for effectiveness and are good for your health and the environment!

I was inspired by The Do-It-Yourself green cleaning party developed by Women's Voices for the Earth, an inspiring women's environmental health organization working to educate consumers about chemicals in cleaning products.

For perhaps a decade, I've offered monthly DIY workshops at Karma for members and the Karma-curious public. I show participants how to use ingredients found at Karma Coop and that they can Special Order from AnarresHealth.ca to make healthy body care, skincare and cleaning products. In this way, I help promote membership at Karma Coop alongside my work. Join us the second Sunday of each month from noon to 1:30 pm in the Member's Room, or in good weather, at the tables just outside. You can make and take home a custom product, with a donation of $10 suggested for materials.
