I created this blend for people who struggle to relax and quiet racing thoughts and cares, especially when they interfere with falling into restful, restorative sleep.
Lavender Studies suggest it can increase deep, restorative sleep and decrease anxiety, by acting on the nervous system to balance it and potentially boost melatonin levels.
Clary Sage reduces stress and anxiety and helps lift out of troubled physical states. Its calming effect is linked to compounds like linalyl acetate and linalool that help to lower blood pressure and cortisol levels, supporting a transition into a state of relaxation and rest.
Chamomile acts as a mild sedative thanks to its apigenin flavonoid that binds to benzodiazepine receptors in the brain, reducing anxiety and increasing drowsiness. Some studies show that it helps us fall asleep and stay asleep all night.
Frankincense calms the overactive mind, quiets mental chatter, balances left and right brain activity, and gently heals the nervous system.
