When I decided to move in February after 19 years, I was disappointed by the lack of environmentally friendly options out there. How's the new place, you ask?
Coming along:
~ I have 2 special wall cabinets for my products
~ New windows are being installed July 15.
~ The clinic floors, ceilings and walls have been redone - the private residence sunroom and basement are in progress.
~ I have a 40 foot clothesline that rises and lowers on a pulley!!! We are going to put a bat house on top of the pole.
~ The back yard vegetable and medicinal garden is thriving, with home made Celtic paving stones in a twisting path patten around the garden of two long columns and 4 central mounds. The front yard is my 5 year old's butterfly garden. She is proudest of growing milkweed from seed.
~ We are poised to create an FSC Certified cedar flat roof deck with planters all around instead of railings.
