We will focus on:

* how to make labels to order yourself, on recycled paper labels
* how to use and source glass and metal packaging instead of plastic
* where to get vegetable cellulose instead of plastic cellophane
* the "refillable and returnable" business model...
all my secrets are... not a secret! I will tell all!

Learn how to make your packaging and labelling as efficient, natural AND environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible for you.
This workshop is for:
* owners and managers of small cosmetics (body products) managers and retailers
* students and aspiring entrepreneurs
* consultants working with small businesses to transform, "green" or increase viability

In this semi private class (max 6 participants) you'll receive individual attention and helpful feedback. Please bring your products and ideas!

~ Learn the nitty gritty about:
* labelling requirements and what your market needs to see on your labels - plus your label options and how to make labels!
* the regulatory environment, "banned" and restricted ingredients, medications versus cosmetics, traditional vs versus "drug" claims

We'll learn together through exercises in order to create useful tools for your business on the spot:
* label template for your products
* pricing formula for your products (what-the-market-will-bear versus costing methods)

As a participant, you'll leave with:

~ Handouts about small business and Green resources and groups, plus info on marketing to LOHAS consumers.

~ A To Do List of Green possibilities specific to your packaging and labelling

Once you let your potential customers and clients know how you have "Greened" your practices, 80% will select you over your non Green competitors! 20% of consumers, the LOHAS group, will even pay a premium for your products!

Thank you for putting on "Creating Your Natural Cosmetic Business: Green Packaging Lab" workshop. I found the workshop to be enlightening and very useful!

Starting my own business I thought I've researched and found all the answers to my questions on the internet, but at the end of this workshop I found out otherwise
I have learnt 3 simple rules to product labeling; inform, educate and keeping it simple.
I will be changing the way I do my labels and start to use what I learned from this workshop. I can’t wait to get home to practice. Tracey I do hope you put on this workshop again?
