Enjoyed a Self Spa Workshop and want to pass on the joy of DIY?

Volunteer 4 or more hours at the BIG on Bloor Festival as we offer the Self Spa to passers-by come-participants!

Shifts are:
Saturday and Sunday
10a-1pm includes set up
1pm - 4pm
4pm-8pm includes take down

Bloor Street West, from Duffferin to Lansdowne will be pedestrian-only for two days!

Anarres Natural Health will be there offering a Self Spa mini workshop table where passers by can become participats, making custom face masks, body scrubs and bath salts by donation. I'll need three volunteers per day who want to learn about natural ingredients and share the same with others. Contact me for more info! Anarres Health at gmail dot com .

Bloordale’s two-day, community and city building festival is coming back to Bloor Street between Dufferin and Lansdowne, July 20 and 21, 2013.

This year’s feature event is the official opening of the new Bloordale streetscape with Bloordale Gardens Community Art Project and The Bloordale Market: more than 200 arts, crafts, vendors and information tables!

The next public meeting is Wednesday, April 3, at 7 pm, at New Horizon Towers, 1440 Bloor Street West, just west of the Dufferin subway station. There will be meetings on the first Wednesday of the month up until the festival. Come out to ask questions, make suggestions and otherwise get involved.

11:00 pm street closed, all vendors vehicles cleared
1:00 pm festival starts, stage entertainment starts, children’s activities start
9:00 pm all festival activities end, start clearing street, please removing all valuables overnight. There will be security overnight, but the festival cannot be responsible for goods left on the street overnight.

Sunday
9:00 am vendors can return to set up tables
11:00 pm street closed, all vendors vehicles cleared
noon
festival starts, stage entertainment starts, children’s activities start
6:00 pm all festival activities end, start clearing street, cleaning up garbage, and removing barriers
8:00 pm Bloor Street re-opens to traffic
