Hair Loss Solutions

For hair loss/thinning, it's very important to stop using Sodium Laurel/Laureth Sulphate SLS SLES, as this is the most common cause of hair loss outside of male pattern baldness. SLS is a skin irritant and causes hair loss and cataracts. You can use any "real" soap to wash the hair with. I make a super fluffy kind that I enrich with carrier and essential oils for custom shampoos. These are also refillable in my clinic.

I can make a hair growth tonic for you that you would massage into your scalp daily. Aromatherapy has been to shown to be much more effective and less harmful than conventional treatments. Your tonic would presumably be more effective, as I will make it specifically for you based on your health history.

Aromatherapy for Hair Loss

When we read about this treatment for alopecia areata in the Archives of Dermatology (November 1998) we were astounded. The Scottish dermatologists stated that "Cedarwood, lavender, thyme, and rosemary oils have hair growth-promoting properties. These oils have been anecdotally used to treat alopecia [baldness] for more than 100 years." *Hay, Isabelle C., et al. "Randomized Trial of Aromatherapy: Successful Treatment for Alopecia Areata."
