See or Volunteer for Living Downstream: a film about environmental toxins and women's cancer
WHEN is very pleased to be one of the co-sponsors of the Canadian premiere of a new film on cancer prevention, Living Downstream on Tuesday, May 18 at the Bloor Theatre in Toronto, along with Planet in Focus and Downstream Productions. We are now looking for volunteers to help us with the preparation for the event and to help us raise awareness of WHEN's Cancer Prevention Challenge at the screening.
Living Downstream is a documentary based on the book by the same name authored by Sandra Steingraber, renowned biologist, writer and herself a cancer survivor. Sandra Steingraber will be present for after-film discussion and will be signing the new edition of her book.
If you are interested in volunteering for this special film screening, please contact us. If you'd like more information, you can contact Board Member and WHEN Co-Chair Marie Lorenzo (marie.lorenzo@sympatico.ca) who is organizing this event.
I hope you help us out!
