SHIPPING DELAYS
I recently send an order that took two weeks to get from the US delivery partner to its destination in Virginia, USA. One carrier notes that Delivery delays may be experienced due to recent changes in the U.S. trade policies and heightened inspections. Thank you for your patience while we work to get your parcel across the border.
Please note that guaranteed delivery dates are only available for a premium price starting at $75 CAD alas. Normal delivery times are 7 days to destinations throughout the US.

Tariffs will not affect most individual purchases but will affect the prices you pay in Canada for US-made goods. According to a vending platform: Today, March 4th, 2025, the United States government implemented a 25% additional tariff on all goods produced in Canada and Mexico, effective immediately.
When I need to reorder goods such as glass packaging, citrus ingredients, paper packaging and certain essential oils such as pepper, mint, citruses, noble fir or yarrow, I will need to pay 25% extra or spend extra on shipping to bring the items in from a more distant country. When I go to my local distributors, items that were made in the US or that came through a US supplier will cost 25% more.

How I offer excellent pricing on packaging:
1. Extreme markups are common when it comes to packaging, but I maintain a strict formula. I don't charge "what the market will bear".
2. I buy packaging as close to the factory as possible, often eliminating brokers and distributors who can add 50% to the cost. I am skilled and experienced at buying factory overruns and importing from where the items are actually made.
3. I always offer volume discounts of 10% to 20% and up to 30% for intact boxes, flats and large volumes. If it's less work for me, you save!
4. I don't add a margin for "free shipping" to my pick-up orders. You save 20% over what I would need to charge everyone on every item if I were to penalize local customers by shifting shipping costs.
5. I charge as close as possible to my actual shipping costs (Distance rate + file surcharge + taxes + cost of shipping supplies used). I do not charge handling, though on a bad day, I wish I did!
6. I've bought large quantities of useful things when they are on sale. With hints of regret at the mounds of boxes, I do have a large stock of some packaging, such as dripulators, that are always useful, but I do have 20,000 of them in black and white, so feel free to order 1000+, and I'll match the competitor's quote!
