Citrus clementina cold pressed from the fruit peel in the USA. Clementine is a natural hybrid of mandarin and sweet orange developed in North Africa. Clementines differ from other citrus in having lower heat requirement, and can produce fruit in cooler climates than other citrus.

Aroma: Strictly speaking a top note, but with prominent middle notes, clementine cold pressed oil smells identical to the fruit. Fresh, crisp citrus aroma that is as complex and multi-layered as red mandarin, but sweeter, with a subtler sweetness than sweet orange and tangerine tangerine, and with a floral note.

Main Constituents:
Limonene: 87 - 95% as well as myrcene, linalool, α-pinene and many complex aromatics.

Colour & Consistency: A thin, clear, dark orange to reddish yellow or brownish orange liquid.

Blends With: Clementine blends easily with other essential oils, particularly those from the citrus and floral families.

Cautions: This essential oil may contain phototoxic properties and it is suggested to avoid exposure to the sun after application to the skin. Dilute well before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
