SUGGESTED USE: This oil can be used neat, though because of the price and oily residue, many will prefer to use this oil in dilution with other carrier oils.

Common Uses: Small amounts (10% or less) of Borage are often added to other carrier oils as an enhancing or supporting oil for skincare. It is applicable to all skin types and is commonly used in the manufacturing of skincare products, and by massage therapists.
Borage Carrier Oil is well known as one of the richest sources of essential fatty acids known to man. It is the richest source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) - up to 25%. It is also a fantastic source of vitamins and minerals.

Absorption: Leaves an oily feeling on the skin.
Cautions: Borage Carrier Oil should not be ingested and should not be stored within the reach of children, in case of accidental ingestion. As with all other oils, a patch test should be conducted on the inner arm or other insensitive areas of skin, using a dime-size amount of Borage Carrier Oil to check for sensitivities. An absence of an allergic response within 48 hours indicates that the oil is safe to use.
