Water Purifier: Instructions

Here's a customer video about the water purifier and its maintenance:

SLOW FILTRATION
WHAT IF I FILL THE UPPER CHAMBER COMPLETELY, AND THE BOTTOM CHAMBER IS STILL NOT FULL IN THE MORNING?

When the pipes on my street are being worked on, my filters catch the metal debris, filtration slows down and I need to scrub them monthly, but normally my filtres work well for 6 months.

PRO TIP: Hold the filter by the ceramic part near the base when scrubbing. After years of experience (and a broken filtre!), I've discovered that it doesn't matter what you scrub the filter with if it slows down significantly during its 6-month life, you just need to make sure not to push it off its grey base! Definitely scrub under RUNNING water so the gunk is not reabsorbed.

CLEANING TAPS AND FLOATS WHAT DO I DO ABOUT PARTS THAT ARE DIRTY, BROKEN OR LOST

It's normal to find black sludge around the washers of the filters and taps - this can be washed away. I suggest that you soak your tap and floats in vinegar every six months when you change your filters.

PRO TIP: Wash your floats and tap with plain water (doesn't need to be running), then soak in vinegar while you replace the filters. I wash, drop in a container of vinegar, let soak while I wash the compartments and install the new filters, then rinse off before reinstalling. ALWAYS rinse under RUNNING water.
