Visiting Manitoulin

The world's largest freshwater island, nestled in the sparkling waters of Lake Huron, is home to sandy beaches, popular hikes, historic small towns and rich Indigenous culture. The MS Chi-Cheemaun ferry ride, Bridal Veil Falls, the Cup and Saucer Trail (and the ale inspired by it), are all popular outdoor adventures. For shopping, dining, galleries, and museums, visit one of the island's many historic communities including Little Current, Mindemoya, Kagawong, and Providence Bay. The island is also home to a large Anishnaabek population whose culture and influence can be seen in the island's many art galleries, local boutiques, pow wows, and festivals.
