What's in YOUR tap water that you don't want to drink if you can help it?
Old #water main infrastructure means that many of us living in houses built before 1950, or in older neighbourhoods, are drinking water that has unacceptable amounts of #lead in it.
What's in YOUR tap water that you don't want to drink if you can help it?
If you are in the US, you can check the EWG's Tap Water Database with your zip code here https://www.ewg.org/tapwater/.
A detailed report from the Government of Canada Lead in Drinking Water is available here https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/programs/consultation-lead-drinki... .
The report states in 2.3 Executive Summary "As the primary source of lead in drinking water is the leaching from plumbing and distribution system components, drinking water treatment devices offer an effective option at the residential level, although their use should not be considered to be a permanent solution. The Stefani Water Purifiers reliably remove leads and dozens of other common contaminants from the water you drink and cook with every day - inexpensively and simply, without electricity or machinery, using universally trusted micropore ceramic, colloidal silver and activated charcoal.
Is lead in your #drinking water bad?
Yes! Lead is connected to various developmental #health #problems, particularly in children whose brains are still growing.
When the Toronto Star released its investigative report map of lead in Toronto's tap water by postal code, I saw that in my neighbourhood, most households had lead in the water, and 13% had the highest, most harmful level of 13ppm+! I don't have the money to replace all of my pipes to the city's demarc point, and until the city invests in replacing all the old water supplies, I put my trust in my Stefani Water Purifier.
Like most things I've brought into #AnarresApothecary, I bought it and tried it for myself first. I can't stomach selling things I don't myself value and believe in. I enjoy the sweet, cool taste of my purified water at home and at Anarres Apothecary. I invite you to come in and see for yourself how it works or give me a call and I'll talk you through why I think this system is the most honest and affordable solution to at-home water purification.
