Saturday May 24:

5 pm: Gather at our house, appetizers & hangout in the house/yard

6:30 pm: Welcome Circle & Potluck Dinner

8:00 pm: Song circle in the Studio. David has requested that we do a song & sharing circle in the style of the old folk tradition. The format of these circles is simple and clear: we go around the circle and each person gets to request a song.** They may lead it, or ask others to lead it, and we will do our best with the instruments, knowledge and chords we have available to collectively pull it off!

**You can also request a 5-minute jam, if you like, or read a poem, or tell a joke, or request a few minutes of silence. If you would like to share a song, please come with one or more in mind and if you come with words, chords, and/or music to share, EVEN BETTER! If you come with COPIES for everyone, you get to wear a special crown.
Again, we want this to be inclusive, so please don't be intimidated even if you don't feel particularly musical. Even just emailing me a youtube video of a song you'd like to share would be great, then I (and others) can do my best to pick it out, by ear, or by chords.

**Remember that Pete Seeger died this year & his songs are all about togetherness & community! Let's do a little tribute to Pete!
Midnight-ish or later: Wind down, go to bed (you are welcome to stay overnight, we have lots of space and you can also camp in the yard!)

Sunday, May 25 (ACTUAL birthday)

9:30-10:30 am: Meditation & Kirtan/Chanting in the Studio—meditating and singing sweetly together for peace in our world as well as for a blessed & fulfilling mid-point of our dear David's life.

Sunday, 11 am: BRUNCH in the yard! Eggs, Swedish pancakes, & coffee.
Afterwards... frisbee... hangout... ravine walk... let's see what happens!
