French Clay – Caramel is a 100% natural mineral product, mechanically extracted, without a chemical process. It is crushed, oven-dried, and sorted using an innovative and sophisticated process. Inherent in the high content of minerals and trace elements, this clay is mainly composed of Ilite, Kaolin, and Montmorillonite and is free of crystalline silica.

Appearance: Caramel-colored fine powder.

Benefits: French Clay – Caramel act as a cleansing, regenerating, and revitalizing agent. Naturally enriched with minerals and trace elements it is perfect for all types of skin. When prepared as a mask, the clay dries on the skin causing pores to tighten and the skin starts to feel firm, toned and refreshed. French Clay – Caramel can be used to formulate masks, mud baths, and skin care products to promote relaxation of the body and a sense of well-being.

Application: French Clay – Caramel can be used in body wraps, soap making, face masks, mineral-based or cream-based cleansers, face or body scrubs, cosmetics, and facial powders.

Directions for Use: 5-100% in skin-care products, 1 T. / 15ml per lb. / 500g of soap.

Simple Face Mask Recipe: Mix equal parts of French Clay – Caramel and water (or try Floral water or Aloe Vera juice for its toning and clarifying benefits) to form a paste and apply it to the skin. Leave for about 10 minutes and wash off with warm water.
