DIY Workshop - Create Cream Perfumes

In this hands-on workshop, the ancient art of perfumery meets the contemporary science of aromatherapy. If you're familiar with aromatherapy, consider joining us to build on your knowledge and understanding, and try out new things. Learn how our sense of smell works, and what are essential oils, their actions, origins, blending, perfumery, etc.
You'll make your own 15ml cream perfume to take home based on essential oils that suit your needs, body, mind and spirit.

Open to all ages. Karma Co-op Members as well as the general public are welcome to sign up and attend.

PAST WORKSHOPS:

In this workshop by request, we'll discuss what hormones are, what they do, and how they contribute to "femaleness" and "maleness" at different life stages. We'll talk about what can go wrong when hormone-disrupting chemicals enter our bodies through air, drinks, and foods, and how to reduce our exposure to xenoestrogens. I'll demonstrate how to make moon cycle beads, and how to use them to help regulate your cycles or simply track the moon's cycles. You'll make your own to take home!
